Shiawassee is a county located in the U.S. state of Michigan. The Shiawassee County Courthouse was built by Claire Allen, a prominent southern Michigan architect. ==Geography== According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of , of which is land and (1.9%) is water. The Shiawassee River enters it from Genesee County in the southeast and flows through Corunna and Owosso in the center of the county, exiting to Saginaw County in the north.
